Everything You Need for
Credential Trust

Built for institutions that take academic integrity seriously.

SHA-256 Blockchain Hashing
Every credential is hashed using SHA-256 and chained to the previous record, making tampering mathematically detectable.
QR Code Verification
Each certificate comes with a unique QR code that links directly to its verification page — scannable by any smartphone.
Instant Credential Check
Employers and institutions can verify any certificate in under a second, with a clear Valid, Invalid, Revoked, or Tampered result.
Credential Revocation
Admins can revoke credentials instantly with a documented reason — essential for fraud cases or corrections.
Full Audit Trail
Every verification attempt is logged with timestamp, IP address, and result — providing a complete accountability record.
Admin Dashboard
A clean dashboard shows live statistics: total credentials issued, revocations, verifications, and recent activity.
The Process

How SecureDegree Works

Three roles, one trustworthy chain. From issuance to instant verification.

1
Institution Issues Credential

Admin logs in and adds student details. The system generates a unique Certificate ID, computes a SHA-256 hash, and links it to the previous block.

2
Student Receives Certificate ID

The student gets their Certificate ID and a QR code, which they can share with any employer or institution for verification.

3
Employer Scans or Types ID

Anyone can visit the public verification page, enter the Certificate ID, and see an instant result with full credential details.

4
System Detects Any Tampering

The system re-computes the SHA-256 hash at verification time. If any data was changed in the database, the hashes won't match — flagged as TAMPERED.
